I am now earning money

Since nobody wanted to hire me, and McDonald's forgot that I am an employee, I gave up. Until now! I've been hired as a piano tutor! And you only need to pass grade 6 to be able to teach so yeah, I'm doing grade 8 at the moment so everything's a-okay! My first student is tomorrow at 7PM. I'm pretty excited :D

To other boring, regular stuff, english tutor today. School certificate practise again. I thought I stuffed up the comprehension, but I got 23/25 so luckily I didn't embarrass myself, because Miss decided to collect our marks this week. Our class did pretty well, lowest was like, 18 and Ngoc got highest as usual (duh) with 24. Also, me and Mitchell were wide awake this lesson, instead of craving coffee and resting on the tables. Though we did lust over Miss Minos' energy drink LOL.

Federer v Murray! I like both very very much. Federer because of his personality and Murray because of his accent and big mouth, I'm kidding! I don't mind who wins but I'm secretly urging Andy on because I want an upset win. I like upsets and controversy. -evil laugh-

Avatar and First Day of School

Avatar 3D was pretty cool! I didn't get the story at the beginning, I was lost, but I didn't want to ask Mitch or Eric because a) it'd make me seem even more slow than I kinda already am, and b) I'd miss out on more and not understand anything in the end. It was exactly what everybody else has told me about the film: typical storyline but awesome graphics. That blue Na'vi girl, Neitiri or whatever, she was freaking prettier than me! The ending was cool, haha. I usually don't watch sci-fi, actiony stuff but I enjoyed it thoroughly and even more importantly, understood everything in the end! Hmm, I give it a 7.5/10 :P

So FIRST DAY OF 2010 today! Like, whoa, we're a two digit grade now. I cannot stress how much we got the schl cert rubbed in our faces (and those who read my Facebook and personal message amongst other stuff, would know). In the morning, as always, the hype of looking for new people caught me. Met Kitty, Lisa, Shannon, Simon and of course Vincent. Yeah, me and Christie got a bit involved in this whole new people thing, running around and everything. Oh well, bludged the first "week" of school, how exciting, tis weekends already baby!

And I'm bringing skins for everyone on Monday! I saw one of the DecalGirl skin kits in the recycling bin, someone's ordered them already? D:

Last day of holidays

That's what my books look like this year! I don't know if I'm bothered to keep going because it takes a while but I might just cover the rest of my books in some of my favourite newspaper articles that I keep.

So last day of holidays before Creating Connection sees me at school tomorrow. Leaders who are going by train, catch the 11:32AM from Fairfield! So, around 11:35AM at Cabramatta. I should really go early in the morning with my sister eh? But nah, cbb to wake up that early (h) It'd be funny if my sister was in my CC group..muahuahuahua. What the heck is this B/L and P/L Gift! And since when was school contribution $300!

Australians all let us rejoice
Music Sky's The Limit by Jason Derulo RNB (Thanks Kenny! ☺) I love this song as well. I love every Jason Derulo song. Some for a shorter amount of time than others but still. See Eric, some people are nice enough to give me music! :P

Happy Australia day everyone! I had nothing that is both green and gold in my wardrobe so I had to be resourceful, yes, and so I ended up wearing a green headband and a yellow headband. Yahuh, cos that's how I roll. Went to Jamberoo! LOL@ the "biggest theme park in NSW!" Well, no shit, there's like what, two theme parks in NSW! :L I overheard one of those attendant people talking and apparently it was around 5000 people at Jamberoo today. And that a few years ago, 12000 people turned up once and it's the record for largest amount of people at a theme park in Australia? Take that, Queensland! Got there at around 11:30, left at around 4. It was too crowded, we just managed to go on every ride at least once. The new Taipan ride is freaking scary if you sit in the raft, and it spins, and you end up being the one that goes backwards, twice. I was screaming like kerrrazy. I was waiting to go on that Chairlift/Tobogganing ride, and there are these two guys that are around my age lining up behind me. And they're so impatient, it pissed me off. And then when we get to the top, they go on the slow lane, I laughed. The slow lane was clogged as I viewed from the chairlift so I went on the fast lane, there was no one there so I just went at my own pace. Which was maximum anyway, I think? And then there were a few metres where my toboggan just stopped and I was pushing the control thing to max but it wouldn't go. FML! My favourite is Splash Out, it's so relaxing :L

That's all from me for now, check out http://wendzilla.tumblr.com for music, photos, quotes etc :)

Now let's copy Poker face, like oh oh oh oh oh

For those of you who love or hate Ke$ha's tik tok and also Vanessa, because there's a mention of Alexa Chung. I cracked up straight away the first time I heard these lyrics: "talking odd socks on my toes, toes, taking off all my clothes, clothes, feeling overexposed so uh I put back all of my clothes back on". I think I like this parody more than the actual song!

First night of sleeping in my own room yesterday! I didn't really even notice since I stayed up on the phone and ended up falling asleep on the person. First english tutor lesson in about five weeks, my dad was banging on my door trying to wake me up since I sleep with door shut and locked.

Anyway, so yesterday me and Angela were talking about what looked good on guys. This is probably the only thing me and Angela have in common because yknow, she's a bit cuckoo. (I'm kidding, I love you, Angela!) Both me and Angela have a thing for plain v-neck t-shirts on guys, proper shoes not sport shoes and skinny jeans. We expressed our frustration over most guys and their hatred towards skinny jeans. For all guys reading this, which includes you Mitchell who dissed skinny jeans before, no one's gonna question your sexual orientation if you choose to wear a pair, especially if you have nice long legs (stares at Thomson). We talked about how there are those group of guys that dress exactly the same when they go out. Individuality, people?! And we started fantasising about formal and skinny black ties on guys. Then Angela had an orgasm over her perfect dream outfit for a guy.

Went Officeworks today and as expected, they didn't have the books I want! I resorted to Studymate books, the best that was there, at least it has margins. But it's bindered, aww. I don't get how they sold 1 x 35g Glu Stick for $1.97 but a pack of 5 for $11.98? What the heck, or do I just have math problems?!

Speaking of math problems, guess who got below average for the AP/GP exam? Yes, that's right, me, me, Wendy Tran, in bright red, the first name below the under average mark. Honestly, my name on that piece of paper basically cries out for attention. Damnit. At least my name's on the first column for the Linear exam :D I'm actually stressing about the "Exit Exam" in July. I've forgotten like, what, everything? Troi oi!

4 blisters, 3 houses, 2 lasertag games, 1 game of bowling: one heck of a day
Firstly thankyou to all my readers! A lot of people have talked to me about my exercise book rant and agreed to it, it's nice people read my blog and yeah, talk to me about it in real life and stuff :3 [/corniness]

So, on Thursday, went to Villawood AMF Bowling/Lasertag with Mitchell, Simon, Thai, Nathan, Henry, Anh, Kenny, Kabir and Brendon! On the way to Cabramatta station, our meet up point, I noticed someone with a really familiar nose. Oh, of course, it was my bffl Rayray.

When we got there, we just roamed around and played on all those games that they always have at bowling centres. Air hockey was fun, the clink clink noise was cool and Thai wore my bag for good luck and owned Mitchell LOL. Waited for Johnny to come but he never turned up so we just started lasertag. We decided on 2 games of lasertag and 1 game of bowling and since Thai had the 10% off, voila. It was still $23.25, rendering me poor. Laser tag was fun the first time, running around and ganging up on the other random green team aka THE WHITE KIDS. Far out, they were like 10 year olds, and it was three of them against us 10 and they were being such snobs. Anyhow. I ended up chasing Henry around a lot because he kept sneaking up on me from behind. I'm pretty sure I bursted his eardrums. Bowling was epic fail. Bumpers are necessary. I got one strike and then everything went downhill. Stupid Thai and Simon, owned everyone!

For lunch went McDonald's and Henry shouted us all soft serve cones! Thanks Henry! I had a discussion with Thai and Kabir about the DOTA tournament they're organising rofl. Brendon and Simon said, "NO! NOT YOU TOO!" Meh. Boys :L Went over to KFC cos some people preferred KFC. This was when I came up with the genius idea of crashing Nathan's house because we had nothing to do for 3 or so hours. Sorry Nathan, it shall remain Kabir's idea though :L Thai asked me if I used anything on me cos I smell different, and I'm like, HEY ITS HOT AND IM SWEATING and he's like, no, you smell nice and I'm like, OH THANKYOU (h) It was so hot, Mitchell tried to piggyback me but I fell off and he lost grip and it just made both of us even more tired :L

So we walked all the way to Nathan's house, which was pretty long because of the freaking heat. On the way, we were just all singing random songs. Yeah, we sounded so drunk. At one point I just took my shoes off and walked barefoot. The concrete did kill LOL. Got to Nathan's house, his mum was really nice and didn't kick us out and gave us all drinks. Rofl Simon, "Do you have water?" Well, duh.

Then went to Eric's house because it was on the same street and because Kenny missed Eric so much. Yeah, Kenny. Can't believe Eric let, far out it was so random :L This was when most of the arguments with Kenny happened. I kept screaming "B1 B1" into his face, no, not the Bananas in Pyjamas but because he moved down, and he kept dissing Truong and how it was bringing him down, and he quits Truong, and he moves down to B1 LOL. Me and Kenny have a bet to see who can beat the other in English. It's on, Kennyboy. While Eric and was playing basketball with Thai I think, Simon yells out, "Look at his cucumber! It's huge!" and we all cracked up. Yeah, dirty minded we are. But Simon actually meant the vegetable E was growing roflrofl. Then, while half of us went to the station, the other half trekked it to Mitchell's house. Watched Futurama. I read Cleo while the boys said EW EW EW EW EW EW EW MAKE UP IS EW EW EW EW EW EW.

Was a great day, thanks guys :D

dont say it that loudly in front of me ever again

I want margins! (OCD woes)
Is it really that hard to find a decent exercise book?

Yesterday I went to Big W to check out the exercise books there because my mum have been too busy to take me to Officeworks. Couldn't find even find one. Well, I found two whole shelves but a) they did not have 128 pages and b) the quality of the paper was all crap! The paper was so thin, the lines weren't even straight, my pen could've easily ripped through it :( So, I looked at all the Colourhide and Spirax books which are like $2 each instead of 42c and I couldn't find one either! Okay, maybe it's just me now. But seriously, here's my exercise book criteria:
  • 128 pages: I need it with my hugeass writing
  • Quality paper: this includes appropriate thickness
  • Margins: the mistake of no margins this year has seriously wasted my time
  • No perforations: because sooner or later all the pages will start falling off and flying into oblivion
  • Preferably not a binder book: but I can live with it if it is

Yeah. I have this fetish for stationery and then combine that with my pickyness. Ta-dah! Now to book covering. Everyone seems to be using black contact! The last time I did was in year 6, and that was only because I had an emo phase (yes, laugh all you want). This year, I am planning to rip apart this really old fiction book that my mum was going to throw out, and stick the pages onto my exercise book then clear contact. I don't know if that's a good idea, I might just have to settle for normal flashy shiny contact with cartoons on them rofl. Let me know what you think.

TY
I just can't leave all of these till the end of 2010, I'll forget, so so far:

Thanks Vanessa aka my hubby for her two postcards! I just love it when people send me things via snail mail, and especially post cards. I now have 6 post cards!

Thanks Liza for your full on epic get together at your place! Warfare, hiding behind trees and pulling off bark from trees to use as camouflage was witnessed, such a good day.

Thanks Mitchell for agreeing to skip english tutor with me. But then his mum found out and he had to go anyway.

Thanks Nicholas for staying up with me till 5AM last Tuesday when I was too scared to sleep because of The Lovely Bones. Random 16th birthday party planning really took my mind off things rofl.

Thanks Alan for being the best brother ever, especially all that comforting when I was worried about E last Tuesday. You're moving down to A2 and I miss you already :(

Thanks Raymond for the random phone call and H2M wish. Improving upon your status of bffl indeed!
Everything's alright

Finally received my Hurlstone package in the mail today. I just don't get why my sister's got hers before me? It makes me feel so sad. Thanks to Angela and her genius, "Maybe because of the suburbs" when I was complaining about the various people who have already received theirs. I live in the same house as my sister, woman!

10E English: Skola
10E HSIE: Purves
10E Agriculture: Schippers
10E PE: Wilson
Minor Commerce: Kearney
Major Japanese: Eun
A1 Maths: Dillon/Rawson

From memory, I think that's correct. I really wanted Kolodziej or Hancock for english this year, since everyone said he makes class interesting and so on, and I need the recovery from a horrible english teacher last year.

You'll probably realise I have two blogs now: the original Blogspot one and a new Tumblr one. The Tumblr one is basically for music posts, quotes and photos. The Blogspot one, will remain a personal blog. Thankyou to all my readers :)

Like the fish

My name was Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. I was fourteen when I was murdered on December 6, 1973.

today, i watched the lovely bones over avatar and even though i am somewhat freaked out, i must say i do not regret it at all. yes, even with the shame placed upon me by my friends (nicholas and nathan) and the fear of being murdered by some man on the way home from school. i made the big mistake of watching it before i read it though, oh well, apparently, book's scarier, so at least im somewhat prepared. honestly, such a gripping movie though i do feel the ending is a bit of a let down, but it contributes well to the moral of the movie: move on. i urge everyone to watch it asap and stop assisting avatar in taking over titanic as highest grossing film ever! be a man, do the right thing! besides, saoirse ronan is so so so so so pretty. watch trailer here. god its so hoooooot. i think im gonna melt.

so a million people are urging me to watch avatar . oh the shocked expressions when i tell people avatar doesn't look like my kind of movie. "but everybody likes avatar!" did a bit of googling around last night, and found out avatar might overtake titanic as the highest grossing film ever, as it's already in second place? whoa, james cameron, you talented beast, top two spots! also, since it's such a major thing, yknow, i dont want to be deprived. it's like harry potter and twilight, you might hate it but you just have to watch it. this is going against my beliefs, but fine, since two people made me promise them that ill watch it, ill watch it. but to be honest, the blue people freak me out :(

my sister thinks "india" is short for "indonesia".

my sleeping patterns have been heavily disturbed. i slept at 3:03AMish last night, woke up at around 10:30AM. then slept again at 2PM and woke up again at 4:50PM. thats what the holidays do to you. well, me, not you. i need to go shopping troi oi. i can feel a hole in my soul, the lacking of purchasing from a sportsgirl sale rofl. my dad just came hom from work, opened the studyroom door and said, "see, your air con's always on, from morning till night!" and i just turned around, looked back at him and said, "gees dad, i just woke up." yeah, i scared him, he walked away shocked rofl. gg me. which reminds me, i still need my dota training, colin.

Is your punch line just a joke?

go kim clijsters! im in such a tennis-y mood, yay. i havent turned the tv on for a while, except for the occasional saturday night movie, but tennis events sees me more on my couch now. medibank international on atm, my dad was telling me i should be more active like the kids on tv, and i told him "dad, i wanted to try out to be a ballkid but you wouldn't take me to the trials" and he's like "..yeah, because if you got in, you'd fall over." yeah, supportive.

first of all i know youre a liar, you already burnt that bridge over the water. so lets get this story straight, heres your last chance, your lies cant hide your shaking, nervous hands.

Oh, love

love, love like this so catchy, i love it :D

so had the truong ap/gp exam yesterday . i managed to memorise all the formulas by the exam, so yeah, i wasnt falling to pieces due to stress. i survived! the only question i skipped was the first question rofl. i couldnt do any of the ap questions at first, so i basically did the exam from last question to first. started with question 7, then 6 because i was actually here for the consumer arith part of the topic. genevieve and vivian were full writing and i was just sitting there thinking, how the hell do i do this :( ah well, hope i dont come bottom 5 even though i know i am, aww. well, i was away. that is my excuse and shall remain my excuse! after truong, went to bp to fill up my mums car. as i was filling it up for her, i checked my phone and realised eric sent me something during class. it was sweet :)
The Office: Frame Toby

What is my perfect crime? I break into Tiffany’s at midnight. Do I go for the vault? No. I go for the chandelier - it’s priceless. As I’m taking it down, a woman catches me. She tells me to stop. It’s her father’s business. She’s Tiffany. I say no. We make love all night. In the morning the cops come and I escape in one of their uniforms. I tell her to meet me in Mexico but I go to Canada. I don’t trust her. Besides, I love the cold. Thirty years later I get a postcard. I have a son and he’s the Chief of Police. This is where the story gets interesting — I tell Tiffany to meet me in Paris by the Trocadero. She’s been waiting for me all these years. She’s never taken another lover. I don’t care. I don’t show up. I go to Berlin. That’s where I stashed the chandelier.

anybody wanna come liverpool/parramatta with me tomorrow? gotta take advantage of jb and border's sales! and anybody up for back to school shopping with me soon? :)

yesterday, went library to study with eric (and a few people who decided to join us for a while later). it was pretty good, we figured stuff out, slowly, but hey, i was in queensland and eric.. forgot he had classes.

so as expected, we did get sidetracked a lot of the time. we built stationery towers and tried to write in mirror image. the most significant thing we did while our minds were off our work was waste credit, trying to call vincent. for eric, eric needed to ask vincent something, idk what haha. so i was typing random numbers in cos "it was meant to be" so we didnt need to know vincents number, we could just guess it. the first 5 or 6 numbers we dialled all were busy or didn't exist. then i typed in some random number, 97284563 from memory? and some woman picked up and eric asked for vincent, and she's like "he just went out"! hahaha. so funny. so i added that as a contact to eric's phone.

then nicholas, simon, henry and thomson came to pick up laptop skins. and then i spotted two guys that were acting really weird, covering their faces with magazines/books and walking and staring at our table? so maintained eye contact rofl, it was so funny, they went into the corner and i was like to everyone on my table "stare at them, stare at them!" and simon cut holes in my working out so it'd be like that detective thing you do with the newspaper lol. then eric's like "let me go ask them what they're doing" and we stopped him cos our cover would've been blown. yes. and then one of the guys used a nokia 6500 slide, placed it on the space between the bookshelf he was standing behind and took a photo of us? and i was like holy shit man, what the heck's going on rofl, then eric found out it was his friends meh :L

then something something and eric bought a can of condensed milk and i tried to drink it . of course i failed, i drank like, a seventh of the can using a spoon and then eric took a gulp and we just left it there. i felt drunk tbh :L

you know that thing with me, how i can never let anything go? yeah, well im going to try rid that habit as of today. i keep hanging onto things and all they do is weigh me down. im not going to let certain things bother me anymore, especially when i dont have any solutions or support. i hate dealing with these things alone.
im trying really really hard to learn all this ap and gp stuff, its just not working! :( i dont know if its the stress or the low self esteem but gawwwwd. hate this. study date on thursday better work, e. oh well. back to watching friends lol

AP GP

so today i was brave enough to rejoin my class during truong holiday lessons (yes that's right, all you truong haters shove it in my face right now). we started consumer arithmetic, in terms of ap and gp. basically, i just have to memorise formulas. sounds easy right? no its freaking impossible to memorise all those stupid formulas in 3 and a half days. far out, yeah, take into account how bad i suck at maths. alright, truong maths because mr dillon maths is okay. when i say it this time, i mean it, im going to freaking fail that exam on friday. it's not fair! im serious, how about people like angela, who are gonna come prancing into class on friday with her, bag of subway cookies or darryl lea licorique or whatever, and realise she has an exam on the hardest topic to date? knowing angela, she'll probably get really really loud hiccups again. but still. that's not even the point. as you can probably tell, im stressed out of my mind right now.

MISCHA
Heartbreak Warfare

mischa barton is too pretty! and yes, im still obsessed with this photo shoot.

genevieve, i had a really weird dream last night! okay, so we were hanging out, me and genevieve, then alan comes up and goes "have you learnt the b2st dance yet?" and genevieve's like "yeah!" and im thinking holy shit, what?! no! and so i try to get genevieve to teach me but she's like "nah, you suck wendy" and goes hang with allen lo so i run to alan and ask him to teach me and he's like "i don't know your characters part!" and im like "doesn't the whole band usually dance the same steps?" and then he ditches me. the next day we're at the train station, and for some reason glenfield has two steps and i take the new one, and i get lost in some weird school, and this girl who looks pretty junkie talks to me and takes me into her school and i nearly get shot. see, genevieve, all your fault that i nearly die :@

yesterday, went to home hardware to pick out a colour to paint my room! i was tossing up between purple and green. in the end i chose green, because all the shades of purple that i like were too sad and dreary. i was going to go with yellow, yknow, bright and whatnot in the hope that it would motivate me especially to get up in the morning, but it was a bit too ..flashy. picked out a shade of green called embroidered silk , it's like a light natural green. i should've gotten a darker shade, but apparently when you paint it on it looks darker? i swear, if it doesn't, i'm going to cry myself to sleep in my new room every single night. or not.

i just remembered yesterday that frankie december/january issue has been out since like, two weeks ago! lol lag much! i want to get it i want to get it, once again thanks v and vv for recommending :d but its $8.50 and im saving up :( anyway, hope everyone's having a fantabulous break! and not wasting it away like me!

also my cousins came over and they are the cutest things ever, honestly. the one in the yellow dress is jasmine, who's turning 4 tomorrow, and lana's the younger one who turns 3 today! got invited to go out and celebrate at iron chef with them tonight, and i love fancy restaurants, hahahahaha. hm. i love her writing. you know the kid's writing that's like.. really kiddy? yeah :D jasmines obsessed with my whiteboard, really. and i braided her hair for her, then she gave me a kiss on each cheek! full on cute man.

I dont care if we dont sleep at all tonight
Lets just just fix this whole thing now

new years resolutions

· to keep all my resolutions
· realise just because exam and cram rhyme, doesnt mean they relate to each other,
so hence write notes after a topic is finished in class!
· be nicer: no unnecessary bitching, shout more people food (this could backfire),
remember more people's birthdays, bake more cakes, bake more cupcakes, see the good intentions.
· study harder, study properly: 90 minutes of piano every day, homework and
assignments to be started promptly.
· agriculture is a subject too: over 80% for all subjects in half yearlies!
· realise the internet is not a necessity so hence, weening myself off it!
90 minutes of internet a day maximum.
· at least 600ml of water every day: im starting to get convinced that my body functions on sugar.
